A choice of two cycle sportives. The Lakeland is 55 miles long with a few smaller hills; some thrilling descents, a meander through Grizedale Forest and the wonderful views of Lake Windermere. Whilst The Cumbrian is a gruelling test being 90 miles long and including ascents of Kirkstone, Red Bank, Blea Tarn, Wrynose (the hard side), Hardknott, Birker, Kiln Bank, Oxen Park and Bigland and features an unforgettable descent of "The Struggle".

Starting and finishing from Fitz Park, in Keswick (postcode : CA12 4NF), the 15km Derwentwater Trail Race and 15km Derwentwater Trail Challenge is a circuit along well marked and marshalled footpaths and bridleways takes in panoramic views of Lake Derwentwater and the surrounding peaks of the Skiddaw and Blencathra range and the northern lakeland fells.
A carnival atmosphere is guaranteed for both spectators and competitors, with live music, race commentary, food and drink all available at the start and finish.
